The UFO Forum is dedicated to the assimilation and presentation of information, from any and all sources, that concerns themselves with Unidentified Flying Objects. The UFO Forum will use established
scientific methodology in its interpretation and evaluation of data. Scientific fields that will be called upon to assist in this endeavor will include astronomy, biology, physics, sociology, psychology, and psyichiatry.
The UFO Forum will be divided into three sections to achieve our goal. The first section with be the collecting of data. The second section will be the analysis and interpretation of data. And the third section will be the dissemination of UFO information.
Part I - Collection
The UFO Forum will actively pursue the collection of data concerning all aspects of the UFO phenomena. We encourage the submission of UFO related information by any and all parties. Included on its web site to help meet this part are the following sections :
1) Report A Sighting - giving helpful tips on how to prepare oneself for a UFO encounter, what to do during a UFO encounter, and who to contact after a UFO encounter. Included is a form to file with The UFO Forum.
2) Personal Experiences - a way to share the UFO experience in a confidential manner, without ridicule or personal judgement.
3) Question of the Month - gives an opportunity for all website visitors to give their thoughts concerning issues that face the UFO community.
4) Letters to the Forum - offers a line of communication with The UFO Forum to air ideas, thoughts, differences of opinons, criticisms, or whatever else one wants to communicate.
Part II - Analysis and Interpretation
The UFO Forum will use sound reasoning and scientific methodology in the evaluation of the UFO phenomena. Included on its web site to help meet this part are the following sections :
1) Science For UFOlogy 101 (coming soon) - a section explaining the science behind the investigation of UFO evidence.
2) For What Its Worth - our own editorial viewing the phenomena through the eyes of The UFO Forum.
Part III - Dissemination
The UFO Forum will provide sections which will contain information on the subject of UFO's and related materials. Included on its web site to help meet this part are the following sections :
1) The UFO Files - a collection of official documents pertaining to the UFO phenomena.
2) From The Horses Mouth - audio bytes from some of the leading personalities in the UFO field.
3) News You Can Use - containing the latest in news from the UFO world and related fields.
4) Magazines Of Interest - list articles and authors for several of the most popular magazines in the field.
