Welcome to TheUFO Forum. You are here, most likely, because you have an interest in the subject of UFOs, and we hope that you will become a regular visitor to our web site. Let me introduce you to what The UFO Forum is all about and what you will find when you come to visit us.

The UFO Forum is a web site devoted to the scientific study of UFOs. If you have spent anytime at all on the web you have probably noticed thousands of websites dedicated (at least in part) to some small segment of the wide range of UFO related topics. The question that needs answering is: Is there room for one more? Isn’t the market already oversaturated in the coverage of UFOs?

The internet is saturated, perhaps even super-saturated, with a proliferation of websites with a UFO theme. We stand apart from the other sites already out there because we are more timely and offer an opportunity for more voices to be heard.

If you have been browsing the web for any length of time, you probably have come across sites that carry old news. Many UFO sites are not updated in a timely fashion, if they are updated at all. (To test this hypothesis, after you have perused our site, use your browser to find information about current UFO conferences. I will bet that you’ll get hundreds of results directing you to conferences that have taken place two, three, or more years ago. ) This can be very frustrating, which is why The UFO Forum plans on refreshing certain sections of our site daily!

You may also have noticed that most other UFO-related web sites feature the research, opinions, ideas, and persuasions of the more out-spoken members of the UFO community. These individuals have many good ideas that are worth knowing about, but there are many more of you with ideas and thoughts concerning UFOs who had no place to express them, until now. The UFO Forum is where you can be heard. It’s the place where your thoughts and ideas can be shared. We look forward to hearing what you have to say, whether it concerns a sighting you may have recently had , or thoughts on whether Stanton Friedman missed the mark in his latest research. It is also possible you find the UFO Forum a waste of your time. It doesn’t matter what you have to say, we want to hear it.

There will be numerous points of views represented here. Hopefully you will become a regular contributor to this site. We want this to be a site that is used by, and is useful to, all of its viewers. Your opinions and ideas have value, and we want to present them as you express them. Everybody has something to say, and we are here to allow your viewpoints to be heard. E-mail us with your thoughts, ideas, or complaints through our Letters To The Forum section. Don’t be bashful! We’re waiting to hear what’s on your mind.

In addition to the idea exchange, we also offer a sections for you to share your experiences. If you have had a personal encounter, perhaps a sighting in the past that you have never reported or maybe the more disturbing and highly intimate alien abduction, and now feel it is the time to make it known, then use the form found in our Personal Experience section. We are dedicated to the sensitive nature of such reports and will never ‘exchange’ names with another source. Everything received by the UFO Forum is kept confidential.

If you would like to report a more recent UFO incident, we offer a form for that also. The form asks only basic information about your sighting, and the data is analyzed by The UFO Forum . We may ask you for additional information if we find your case of interest. However, we are not an investigating organization. There are several well-known organizations that do work in this capacity. We have listed 3 at the bottom of the form. By checking one, two, or all three,we will forward the information sent to us to the appropriate organization.

In addition to the above interactive pages the UFO Forum also will have the following sections:

1. News You Can Use – Current news items that are of interest to readers of this site. This section will be updated as we receive new items.
2. The UFO Files – A collection of Air Force documents. Currently the entire files of Projects Sign and Grudge are online.
3. 2001:Words or Less – Interviews with individuals who are of special interest in the UFO field. A new interview will be posted every six weeks.
4. From The Horses Mouth – Audio bytes of interest coming from those making news in the UFO field.
5. Question Of The Month - Share your answer to questions of interest.
6. Magazines of Interest –A listing of articles found in leading magazines of the field.
7. Upcoming Events – Find events in your area. We will gladly post your organization or clubs meeting time and place!

The UFO Forum is a people orientated website. Our success depends on the amount of interaction we receive. Don’t hesitate to write us and join in. If you have something to say…say it! You ideas, your thoughts, and your concerns will make us a better website.
